Sales Agronomist at Balton Ethiopia

YEP Role

Through the Young Expert Programme Water I was working as a Technical Manager at Soil and More Ethiopia in Ziway. Soil & More Ethiopia engages in the production and sales of high quality compost in Ethiopia. The project planned to process 50,000MT of green waste from the flower farms into compost. Soil & More is a social company and we were working together with different NGO's to provide sustainability services to (smallholder) farmers. Our mission is to measurably improve the sustainability performance of agricultural production systems and global supply-chains and to promote and support a sustainable development towards healthy soils, healthy products, and healthy people.

Education: Diploma in General Agriculture and  following Bsc program in correspondence program

 

Experience before YEP

In Menshen for menshen foundation project I was working on different fields of agriculture specially on vegetable production, natural resource management, Ipm, giving trainings, etc.

In jittu horticulture plc I was working as Nursery manager and Assistant farm manager.
