Role: Business Development & Project Manager
I work as a Business Development & Project Manager for Yetu Smart Grids. Our work focuses on end-to-end engineering services in renewable energy. Our goal is to support grids’ operations to become more sustainable and efficient. As part of my role, I finetune and execute the sales strategy for the expansion of Yetu Smart Grids in Kenya and the East African region; develop and monitor the execution of the yearly operational plan and projects budget ; and coordinate project execution for customers, aligning internal resources (technical team) and external parties (subcontractors).

- Support country roll-outs in LAC & EMEA
- December 2017 - July 2019: Risk, Business Management & Legal at HSBC The Netherlands. Responsibilities included:
- Production of monthly and quarterly portfolio of risk analysis and evaluation with accompanying commentary for risk management board and risk stakeholders
- Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, forums, and stakeholder feedback
- Evaluate and maintain MI relating to offshore service providers, including maintaining their provision, monitoring their performance and ensuring service level agreement were honoured
