Product and Business Development Manager based at the Max Foundation in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
My aim was to support new program development (innovative and business driven opportunities) and link with possible partner organizations and donors which enables Max Foundation to optimize and expand their impact on the reduction of child mortality through WASH (Water & Sanitation and Hygiene education) and Health (safe motherhood, nutrition) programs.

I am a result oriented young professional who is pro-active, eager to learn and enthusiastic. A good process manager with analytical skills and strong in intercultural communication.
Education: MSc International Development Studies (University of Amsterdam – ISHSS), BSc Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of non-Western Societies (Utrecht University)
Experience before YEP
2010-2015 Program officer at the Dutch WASH Alliance – I was responsible for supplying guidance to 8 country alliances and stimulating synergy and learning within the alliance. As part of my work I took up the role of coach within a long term learning project focusing on financial and institutional sustainable WASH services (working towards inclusive WASH service delivery without subsidy while involving community organizations and/or the private sector). I have gained field experience in Ethiopia, Nepal, Ghana, Uganda and Bangladesh.
2008 Internship at the South Africa Local Government Association - I conducted a research on challenges of municipalities in performing their housing tasks.
2007 Internship at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs – During this internship I did research on accountability (the concept of accountability and the current understandings of this concept within the Ministry)
