Experience before YEP
I started working for Acacia Water on February 1st, 2021, and starting from then I have been involved in different projects in Ethiopia besides the project I am working on as a YEPper. Before I joined Acacia water, I was an intern at Vitens Evides International (VEI) for WASH and IWRM document research and training. The project was focused on water supply, sanitation, and leadership development.
I also worked as a business advisor and trainer for a business consultancy company for 3 months after taking training on business plan preparation from the company. I do volunteer work for more than 9 years in different associations, which gives me a chance to expose myself to administrative activities, and learn how to organize pieces of training, seminars, workshops, conferences, and other social awareness-building events, and fund-raising activities.
I was also an intern at ANTM Business Plc, where I worked in quality control, filed management, and site soil investigation.
