Job title: Technical Officer Water Supply for the Ridge to Coast, Rain to Tap project in Cagayan de Oro Philippines.
In short, the project aims to tackle the flood vulnerability of the Cagayan de Oro river catchment and in particular its water supply system through an integrated approach involving various work packages and project partners. In general, my role is to provide technical and management support within the project. I am mostly involved with the project activities at the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD), where the aim is to improve the management of the water supply infrastructure (reducing Non-Revenue Water and introducing DMA management) as well as to improve its flood resilience.
