Experience before YEP
Before joining YEP, I completed a 10-months traineeship at the European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Vienna, supporting the Director’s Office. I supported the preparation and follow-up of the Director’s meetings with the Agency’s external counterparts (government officials, civil society, international partners, etc.), on a variety of human rights-related topics. Before that, I was an intern at the Netherlands Embassy in Bangladesh, supporting the political affairs, human rights, and public diplomacy department for five months. While I was completing my MSc thesis on cognitive biases in lonely children and adolescents, I tutored at Erasmus University College and completed a summer school program in Washington D.C. During my undergraduate studies, I was involved in various research projects and voluntary activities (incl. for SOS Children’s Villages, Amnesty International, and the Veritas Forum).
