Incorporate a systems analysis of both the physical and socio-economic systems, and the vulnerabilities and institutional capacities, a stakeholder analysis to identify actors who have a trigger and are able to act, by exploring the structure of social and governance networks, mapping actor perceptions and values especially for the development and execution of local surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Participatory Planning Process
Organizing a participatory planning process after the baseline assessment has been completed through directly supporting running planning processes.
Conducted comparative case studies of SIDS in other regions of the world to obtain insight in other strategies and practices for adapting to climate change in a sustainable manner while promoting development and their success factors by conducting a literature survey on adaptation planning into these SIDS in order to identify best practices and lessons learnt.
