Resilience is an international network organisation that carries out research and consultancy projects in emerging markets. Moreover, the company initiates and invests in social enterprises to develop market-based solutions for pressing issues. As a consultant at Resilience and our local subsidiary in Rwanda, Resiliencia Rwanda - I am involved in a variety of projects, including market research, proposal writing, and business development for the Nazava Water Filter project in Rwanda and Uganda.
In addition, I am Country Director of TRAIDE Rwanda. The TRAIDE program is a three-year trade facilitation program sponsored by the Netherlands Embassy in Kigali. The Embassy has set a clear target to transform the Dutch- Rwandan bilateral relationship from an aid-based relationship towards promoting investments and trade. The key objective of the TRAIDE program is to attract and support Dutch companies in Rwanda and contribute to sustainable private sector development. See also: www.traide.org.
Josephine has a background in international relations, with a focus on the role of the private sector in sustainable development. She has an entrepreneurial mindset and is a team player with strong communication and presentation skills. Other skills include project management, relationship, and stakeholder management, and (interdisciplinary) research skills.
