I am an Agronomist for Holland Greentech in Ghana

My job description and specifications as an Agronomist includes:

• Scouting and identification of lead farmers
• Organizing training for lead farmers
• Develop demonstration plots
• Organizing study groups/ facilitating learning from farmer to farmer
• Developing cooperation agreement with lead farmers
• Managing Lead Farmers, helping them record data from demo plots about yield
• Sales of seeds

Experience before YEP

Ministry of Food and Agriculture -  February 2019 till date  

Agriculture Extension Agent / Management Information System Officer / Municipal Development Officer Livestock Assist in the implementation of programs and policies. 

• Undertake field demonstrations to explain new technologies and practices to farmers.
• Advise farmers on how to efficiently implement on-farm adaptive trials to yield good results. Develop action plans and budget for the Agriculture department to the Ayawaso municipal assembly. 
• Write and compile annual, progress, and quarterly reports for the assembly
