YEP Role

I worked for Water Company in ENACAL as an engineering consultant of Waterbedrijf Groningen from Netherlands. The position focused on the technical strengthening of the company by developing projects for sustainable water management and personnel training.

Skills

I´m a teamwork person, I have communication skills and easiness to train staff, leadership and self learning. Ability to work in a multicultural context, creative and imaginative, resourceful at developing projects and open to new knowledge and experiences.

 

Background

Nationality: Nicaraguan
Education: Environmental Quality Engineer graduated from  “Universidad Centroamericana” (2004-2008) with a postgraduate degree in Business Environment Management. (2011-2012) and Master of Water Sciences with emphasis on Quality (2012-2015)

 

Experience before YEP

After my studies, I developed professional experience  in the water sector in Nicaragua, as:

• Project Engineer in the consulting firm “Environmental Protection & Control EPC” developing bio-remediation projects of groundwater and water quality studies
• Territorial Delegate of the National Water Authority, supporting water management within a national institution
