YEP Role
As a Young Expert working for PRACTICA Foundation and Kijani Testing Ltd Kenya I am mainly involved in testing the newly developed Minipivot (a scaled down version of the center pivot irrigation system), this involves looking for test sites and constantly monitoring and evaluating their performance. To ensure they meet customers’ requirements and expectation before being officially launched into the market.
I am also responsible for developing a market entry plan and upscaling strategy based on my interactions with the test volunteers of this product and my past experience in agribusiness models.

Experience before YEP
I have been working with Kijani Testing Ltd in Kenya as the M&E assistant in irrigation, my major tasks involve meeting farmers, gathering feedback on test products like solar pumps, special irrigation systems, solar refrigerators, and solar water heaters.
I also worked for Futurepump, as a distributors manager and a champion trainer of the Futurepump products.
