YEP Role
I work as a Learning & Knowledge Sharing Advisor for ICCO’s STARS programme (Strengthening African Rural Smallholders). STARS is a five-year (2017 – 2021) project in partnership with Mastercard Foundation. Through a market system development approach, the project focuses on improving access to finance and markets for more than 200,000 smallholder farmers in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Senegal and Burkina Faso.
My role in the programme is to guide evaluations (internal and external), gather lessons learned, and encourage knowledge sharing via publications and other formats. In addition, I am closely involved in the development and implementation of a digital tool for financial institutions.
