YEP Role

WE Consult is a consultancy company specialised in water, sanitation and environment, including hydrogeology, WASH, water resources management, socio-economic surveys, environmental impact assessments and project management and evaluation. 

 

I will take part in hydrogeological projects and will eventually be project leader of various projects related to sustainable water resources management. Types of projects I will be involved with are: ground- and surface water assessments, geological and geophysical assessments, and integrated water resource management projects. I will be able to train local staff on various technical topics, and also on professional work ethics. In addition, I will assist with promoting sustainable water use and water resource monitoring among farmers and other large scale water users.

Background

Nationality: Dutch
Education: BSc Land and Water Management with a specialisation in Applied Hydrology at VHL University, MSc in Hydrology, Water Resource Science and GIS at Wageningen University

 

Experience before YEP

Before starting the YEP program I have worked on various water management projects in different countries, including Romania, Vietnam, and Burkina Faso.
