YEP Role
Senior Business Acceleration Expert at Truvalu.enterprises Ltd. (Bangladesh). As a Local Young Expert, I am positioned in Bangladesh to facilitate Truvalu’s mission to develop fair and inclusive agro-food chains, by supporting innovative and scalable SMEs in emerging markets. Truvalu supports local agribusinesses with a unique combination of early-stage equity funding business development support and access to local, and if applicable, international networks. Through this co-entrepreneurship approach, Truvalu develops pre-growth SMEs to business maturity for economic returns and social impact. In light of this, the YEP role involves the following key objectives:
- Growth-stage, inclusive agri-food businesses grown into mature, profitable and sustainable companies
- Improved local and international market access for agribusinesses and smallholder farmers
- Improved access to capital, skills and expertise for agriculture companies
Skills
Hardworking, conscientious, and dedicated individual with an analytical mindset and love for numbers. Experience in financial analysis, business development and business process engineering. Ability to display initiative, prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Background
Nationality: Bangladeshi
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IBA, University of Dhaka (January 2012 to December 2016)
- CAIA Charter holder
- Passed all three levels of the CFA program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience
