First position after YEP

Trainer and Consultant at MDF West Africa, Ghana

YEP Role

During my time at YEP I was working with MDF West Africa as a Junior Trainer and Consultant; I was located in Accra, Ghana. My role was to support and build the capacities of NGOs and CSOs in WASH entrepreneurship, develop and pilot WASH Entrepreneurship programme within MDF which has provided business support services for the WASH sector in Ghana.

Skills

I have good writing skills; I am a good team builder and player, good with Microsoft office applications. I am more of the idea generation person who is able to come up with lots of ideas when working with a project team.

Nationality: Ghanaian
Education: My educational background is in Entrepreneurship and Economics 

 

Experience before YEP

• I have gained a lot of experience with international cooperation with the German International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Diaspora Business Center. As an entrepreneur and a writer I have authored a couple of books on entrepreneurship
• Carried out an assignment for the Bonn Rhine Sieg University of Applied Sciences Germany on the current state of Entrepreneurship in Ghana
• Co-founded the African German Youth Dialogue a discussion platform which brought young people together to discuss issues of national and international interest on varied themes and topics.
