YEP Role
I am the assistant project coordinator for World Water Academy for the OKP-Project titled Bridging the water: co-create to learn & experience. The project aims to sustainably bridge the gaps between theory and practice in the South African water sector through embedding an action-learning and co-creating approach to lead to better water management, improved water services and livelihood improvement in South African municipalities. I am based at the Institute of Water and Wastewater Technology at the Durban University of Technology. As an assistant project coordinator, I work closely with various stakeholders of the project to ensure that project objectives are met within set timeframes.

Two year’s experience at eThekwini Municipality working in the Climate Protection Department and eThekwini Water and Sanitation. Projects involved in: Palmiet River Rehabilitation Project and; Water Use Licensing Applications for Wastewater Treatment Works in the Durban metropolitan area.
