M&E and Environmental specialist at Kijani Testing Ltd., Kenya
YEP Role
As a Young Expert working for PRACTICA Foundation and Futurepump Kenya I am mainly involved in distributing new parts to customers for test, writing blogs on the case studies that we get from the field about our pump and mainly, data collection for monitoring and evaluation of the Sunflower solar irrigation pump. In order to ensure the pump meets customers’ requirements, relevant data on the technical performance, social, environmental and economic impact needed to be collected. I am also responsible of reporting the technical findings to our research and development team, this is an important aspect since we need to improve our pump to be able to meet consumers demands and keep up with the advance changes in technology.
