Supply Chain Coordinator at DADTCO, Mozambique

YEP Role

I am a Supply Chain Coordinator. My tasks are:

• building relationship with supplying farmers, Ngo’s and local governments. 
• training and supervision of supply chain, agronomists and registration team
• planning and coordination of root supplies
• supervising field work
• responsible for awareness campaigns and farmer’s level as well as district level.
• identification of cassava growing areas in collaboration with other agricultural organizations
• planning and logistics for roots supply according to customer demand
• weekly meetings with supply chain staff

09/01/2017 – 12/30/2018– Technoserve - NGO (Agronomic Consultant)

04/14/2017 – 08/31/2018 – Companhia de Zembe – Seed Company (Agronomist)

Location: Mozambique - Manica province

Crops: Maize, common beans, soybeans and sesame, Cowpea 

Tasks:

• responsible for processing and commercialization of seeds and soil analysis;
• assembly of multiplication fields of hybrid maize SP1
• documentation and dissemination of good practices and innovations during the production
• create strategies of marketing
• organise monthly budget
• technical assistance to the multiplication plots
• development of alliances between buyers of seeds and producers
• analysis of micro and macro-nutrients in the soil
• solve logistical problems inherent to the activities developed in the field and in the processing of seeds
• organise statistical information on the activities carried out in the company
• preparation of monthly reports
