YEP Role

AgriProFocus is an international multi-stakeholder network with Dutch roots that promotes agri-entrepreneurship in low- and middle income countries, and contributes to promoting inclusive and sustainable growth in the agricultural sector with the aim of establishing food security for all. In my role as Country Coordinator I am responsible for:

• Identify key themes/sectors for the APF network in Myanmar
• Growing the AgriProFocus network and promote it among stakeholders
• Establish strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders including the Netherlands embassy, Dutch stakeholders working in-country as well as national stakeholders from various stakeholder groups
• Facilitate in co-creation with stakeholders in country learning through network events, expert meetings and online interaction for regular debate around key (policy) areas
• Facilitate in co-creation with stakeholders identification of business and partnership opportunities for Dutch, international and Myanmar agri-business through business events and bilateral contacts
