YEP period 2017 - 2019, batch 11
Young Expert at Acacia Water - KenyaFirst position after YEP
Hydrologist at Acacia Water B.V., the Netherlands
YEP Role
As a Young Expert, I work on many projects in East Africa concerning water management. My work is on one hand content oriented – I work on projects making hydrological assessments, doing GIS analyses, modelling, performing and overseeing fieldwork, and writing reports. On the other hand, my work is network oriented – I am stationed in Kenya as we feel at Acacia Water that there is a lot of potential in this region to do more work, and I am tasked with exploring opportunities in the area.
